VELUX solar-powered "Fresh Air" Skylights require no wiring and are eligible for a 30% federal tax credit, including product and installation costs, making them highly affordable. This skylight also qualifies for a 10-year "No Leak" installation warranty with the use of EDL M08 flashing on a shingle roof with a pitch between 14-85 degrees, EDW M06 flashing on a tile roof, or EDM M06 flashing on a metal roof (flashing kits sold separately). The skylight features Clean, Quiet and Safe LowE3 laminated glass with a Neat glass coating that keeps it clean, reduces outside noise, and comes with a 10-year hail warranty against glass breakage. It consists of double-paned argon gas-filled LowE3 glass, providing excellent energy performance for year-round comfort, and is built with laminated glass for added safety, as required by building codes for out-of-reach applications.
